ABC Classic FM Australian Music Highlights: February 2011
This month there are Australian works performed by several of Australia's Symphony orchestras, including world premieres of new works by Ross Edwards, Calvin Bowman. Another world premiere to be heard this month is a piece composed by consortium of eight Australian composers for the Seraphim Trio.
A special late-night treat for the month of February is the duo Whirlpool (harmonium and microtonal vibraphone) performing live from the ABC's Sydney Studios for New Music Up Late on Saturday 12th February. Make sure you tune in, or listen online.
