AMC launches digital sheet music sales - first up, scores for clarinet
As a result of years of work and our major digitisation project in 2013-2015, the AMC has just launched digital score sales of Australian works.
Because of the work involved in creating downloadable files, and associated documentation, we will be making scores available for download sale in stages, starting with works for solo and accompanied instrument. Right now, selected works for clarinet are already available for purchase as downloadable scores in PDF format.
We'll be increasing the selection substantially over the coming months, working our way through various parts of repertoire. We are also adding new search functions on the website to make it easy find which scores are available for purchase as a digital download. In the 'Refine Your Search' box there is now an option (under 'Commercial Availability') to narrow down search with 'Digital Sheet Music Available'. This will become very handy as more repertoire is added as downloadable scores.
For all the works processed so far, you can find the ePDF format listed as one of the products (recordings, scores and parts, MP3s, CDs) available for purchase from the AMC Shop.
