New Music Network - call for proposals
The New Music Network is calling for proposals for the 2010 Mini Series. The Mini Series comprises artists from the 'the next generation' of new music: individuals and/or groups that are just starting out in their new music performing careers and that are not full members of the network. The Mini Series is held alongside the annual New Music Network Concert Series.
Proposals for the Mini Series are welcome from any interested individuals or groups within contemporary new music practice: electronic, improvisatorial or composed. In 2010 the New Music Network is hoping to expand the series to Melbourne and Brisbane and welcomes proposals from interstate. The New Music Network Mini Series Scheme provides assistance in the form of a performances fee as well as a contribution towards the venue hire, marketing and PR support, and a small advertising budget.
