Barry Conyngham (born 1944)
Now That Darkness
Barry Conyngham was born in Sydney. He presently lives in the
Northern Rivers-Byron Bay area. In Australia he studied with
Peter Sculthorpe and with Tōru Takemitsu in Japan.
He holds an MA (Hons) with the University Medal from the
University of Sydney, a Doctor of Music degree from the
University of Melbourne and a Certificate of Postdoctoral studies
