University. She was awarded in the 1993 International Modern Music Award
for Composition, Vienna. Her works have been performed in many festivals
in Europe and Asia. Recent commissions include a work for the Joseph
Beuys and Rudolf Steiner Exhibition at the NGV in October, and a work for

released on the Move label in October.

The title (Below the Star Stretched Sky) is a line from the poem Runga, by
Australian poet Esther Theiler. With a sense of the dark earth below us, and
the illuminating stars above, maybe it is possible to listen to an inner voice
that seems to come not from ourselves, but from a wisdom lying on the
edges of the world.
