Throughout time composers have been captivated by love, romantic love or love of a place, a time or music. Sculthorpe depicts his for Kakadu; Stephenson for the baroque with his creative neo-baroque apotheosis, Concertino; and Prokofiev for Shakespeare’s classic love story, Romeo and Juliet.
