Alister Spence, Lloyd Swanton and Toby Hall are back again by popular demand. The trio have had a great run of gigs this year and are definitely building momentum: their music has never been stronger! They have recently recorded a fifth album, to be released in October.
Over the past 15 years the trio have consistently carved out a name for themselves, both here and overseas. They have released 4 CDs, two of which have received ARIA nominations for Best Jazz Album (2004, 2007), and toured nationally and internationally performing at festivals and venues such as Tokyo Jazz Festival, International Festival de Jazz de Montreal, Vancouver Jazz Festival, Chelsea Festival, Vilnius Jazz Festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival.
Their collective biographies and discographies involve performances and recordings with luminaries such as Dewey Redman, Barre Phillips, Brian Eno, Archie Roach, Jim O’Rourke, Karaikudi Mani, Paul Capsis and Ed Kuepper.
