Event Details
On Sunday 25th March classical guitarist Raffaele Agostin, will join forces with cellist Rachel Scott for 'an afternoon of 10 strings' for Wyvern Music Forestville, with evocative music from the baroque through to the present day. The program will feature Gounod/Bach’s Ave Maria and will include works by Antonio Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Arvo Pärt, American composer/cellist Mark Summer and well-known Australian composer/guitarists Philip Houghton and Richard Charlton.
Raffaele Agostino is a performer, teacher and AMEB examiner. He is currently the artistic director of the Classical Guitar Society, Sydney and lecturer in guitar at the Sydney Conservatorium. Sydney-based cellist Rachel Scott is the artistic director of the hugely successful 'Bach in the Dark' concert series in the St James church crypt.
