Event Details
Geoffrey Gartner and Daniel Herscovitch are longtime fixtures of the Australian chamber music scene. Following their 2015 performance of Chopin’s Cello Sonata they will team up again to present a program featuring another large-scale masterpiece of the romantic era, Brahms’ Cello Sonata in F major. The program also includes the world premiere of a new work by Australian composer, Peter Dart. His virtuosic Suite was written specially for Gartner and Herscovitch.
