Michael Daugherty - What’s that Spell?
For this groundbreaking collaboration, Trichotomy and Southern Cross Soloists present a new work that explores the concepts of mirrored ensembles. Trichotomy, with the classic jazz trio combination of piano, bass and drums, and vocalist Leigh Carriage will face off against the Southern Cross Soloists. A duel to the death, perhaps…or perhaps a fascinating blend of musical styles, brought together by captivating melodies, unique ensemble textures and instrumental combinations.
