Awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Darmstadt summer course in 2014, Argonaut alumnus Phoebe Green returns to BIFEM with a brand-new solo recital. With understated presence and poise, Phoebe is also known for her strong personal commitment to Australian music, having commissioned and premiered key works for the viola. Phoebe presents a long-form solo viola work by celebrated Italian composer Pierluigi Billone in a programme that re-imagines the role of the musician and demonstrates the colour and beauty of the viola.
