Event Details

Bois (Fr. 'wood') takes us on a journey through an exploration of our identity, using new and old ideas. Forest Collective and Exaudi Youth Choir explore how one can grow and dream in our 'urban bois'. The performance will feature exciting contempory works by prominent Australian composers, including the premiere of a new work for the joint ensemble by Forest Collective’s artistic director Evan Lawson. Works from the traditional and contempory chamber music canon are pitted against new works exploring music within improvised, collaborative and theatrical contexts.

Please join Australian Choral Estedford Champions Exaudi Youth Choir and the new vibrant ensemble Forest Collective for an evening of new experiences.

Performers: Evan Lawson, Isabel Hede, Tanya Vincent, Lucy Waldron, Holly Sharpe, Exaudi Youth Choir

Featured non-Australian music: Beethoven
