Brokebeat Mountain are one of Sydney’s most exciting bands. A trio of composers and risk-takers, this leaderless group will take you on a journey of sound inspired by the Detroit underground, Berghain, and Brian Eno. Concise song writing coupled with extended periods of improvisation let Clark, Meredith and Bruce freely explore the extremities of their electro acoustic environment. 9.30pm Mister Ott Things have been getting interesting for Mister Ott with recent shows in Amsterdam and Paris and a new recording in the can. Inspired by the music of horn of Africa, expect eastern mellismatic melodies and hypnotic trancelike rhythms to go head to head with some seriously solid funk grooves.
