The pinnacle of the Melbourne Cello Festival (MCF) showcases the collective musical power of cellos in various ensembles, culminating in the Orchestra of 100 Cellos! Immerse in the sea of cellos and experience waves of cello sound surrounding you and transporting your sense to another aura. We invite all levels of cellists to join us in this orchestra, and all you cello fanatics and music lovers to come and share our love for this magical instrument. The final concert also features the world premiere of Gathering, a new work written for the Melbourne Cellos and the MCF by Barry Conyngham, Dean of Faculty of VCA and MCM.
