Melbourne chamber music group Fennec Ensemble is proud to present the Victorian premiere of Israeli-Australian composer and pianist Yitzhak Yedid's new quartet Chad Gadya, inspired by a playful cumulative song in Aramaic and Hebrew. Also on the program is Bernstein's rhapsodic Clarinet Sonata, an introspective trio by Perth composer Lachlan Skipworth, and Stravinsky's own trio arrangement of his famous stage work The Solder's Tale. The Fennec Ensemble is an innovative and exciting group of young musicians whose repertoire covers classical music, jazz and improvised music, as well as folk and traditional music.
