CHRONOLOGY ARTS – MUSICA VIVA RISING STAR

Chronology Arts is a new music ensemble committed to presenting works by emerging composers.

Day and Night has been created especially for their Utzon Music Series debut and includes six new works by some of Australia’s most promising young composers alongside a new work by Michael Smetanin. Day and Night condenses a day into an hour, exploring the daily passage of time, complete with its rites and rituals. This concert is an exciting snapshot of the future of Australian composition.

A collection of new works commissioned by Chronology Arts;

ANNIE HSIEH, ALEX POZNIAK, ANDREW BATT-RAWDEN, MAXIM BENDALL, MICHAEL SMETANIN, TRISTAN COELHO, LACHLAN SKIPWORTH
