Event Details

You know Jim already from his days with iconic Aussie rockers Midnight Oil. These days he’s stepping out in numerous guises, including frequent performances with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and as a member of surf rock outfit The Break (with MOFO godfather, Brian Ritchie). Jim’s here with his Electric Guitar Orchestra to explore the connections between music and colour, via the art, music and theories of Kandinsky, Klee, Schoenberg and de Maistre.

Jim’s Electric Guitar Orchestra includes Kent Steedman (The Celibate Rifles), Michael Trifunovic (Aqualash), Tim Kevin (Youth Group, La Huva, The Exiles), Alex Young (Good Buddha) and Matthew Steffen (Decoder Ring).

P.S. If you’re lucky, you might see Jim’s pop-up performances inside Exxopolis.
