DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL - SUBMERGE YOURSELF IN THE SOUNDS OF AWE AND WONDER
Sydney Ristretto and Melbourne Choristry choirs join in this incredibly atmospheric concert accompanied by the Geist String Quartet and Brad Gilchrist on piano. Featuring the emotional music of Ola Gjeilo and Eric Esenwalds, a newly commissioned work by young Australian composer Ella Macens, arrangements by Dan Walker of the stunning Staralfur and works by Depeche Mode and enhanced by Arvo Pärt’s ethereal Salve Regina. This combined concert will be conducted by award winning Michelle Leonard OAM and Dan Walker in an evening that will have you looking anew at the night sky and our place in the universe. Join us as we explore the evocative sheer grace of the Dark Night of the Soul
Featured non-Australian music: Ola Gjeilo, Arvo Pärt, Depeche Mode, Esenwalds
