Event Details
Duo Caliente perform high energy Latin music for flute and guitar performed by Rebecca Guy (flute) and Duncan Gardiner (guitar). From Piazzolla to Albeniz this is an unforgettable musical journey for lovers of South American dance music including tango, bossa nova and samba. Returning to Fringe after their sell out concert in 2014 with an exciting new program. From fringe festivals to concert halls, jazz clubs or arts spaces, Duo Caliente have been delighting audiences with their appealing blend of Latin and Spanish music. Duo Caliente live up to their name, promising the hottest favourites from tango maestro, Astor Piazzolla, to the most achingly beautiful Spanish impressions of Ravel. "This duo is simply a delight. Beautiful music passionately played. A serenade to enchant any occasion." Bourby Webster, Perth Symphony Orchestra
