The Sydney International Piano Competeition is held every four years and is under new artistic directorship of acclaimed Australian pianist, Piers Lane AO.
After fierce competition, six finalists compete in the grand finals at the Sydney Opera House with one performer crowned the winner. Expect sublime musicality and piano playing at its finest from the First Prize Winner of the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition who performs in the magnificent acoustics of Melbourne Recital Centre.
The official winner of the 2016 competition will be announced on Saturday 23 July.
