Who will win the 2014 Freedman Jazz Fellowships?
Freedman Jazz sees Australia’s top jazz musicians go head to head in a blistering display of thrilling jazz and daring improvisation as they compete for the lucrative $15,000 prize. Distinguished nominators from each State and Territory selected 16 of the very best artists from around the country and four of these outstanding candidates have reached the finals. The four finalists this year are: Shannon Barnett (trombone), Aaron Choulai (piano), Matthew Sheens (piano) and Gian Slater (vocal).
