See: http://www2.ngs.nsw.edu.au/web/ngs-farkwa.aspx The concert features Sally Walker (Lecturer in Flute, Newcastle Conservatorium of Music), Dr Jim Chapman (Senior Lecturer, Conservatorium of Music), Michael Power (Pianist, Newcastle Grammar School), the Newcastle Conservatorium World Music Ensemble (led by Jim Chapman), Marie Fox and Matthew Law (Flute Teachers Newcastle Conservatorium of Music) and members of the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music Flute Class. Jim Chapman's work Ndithanda le dawo (commissioned by Sally Walker for two flutes and two alto flutes written in an African style but with Western notation) shall be premiered at this event.
