Fresh from presenting recitals in the USA, Geoffrey will perform a special solo recital to celebrate Roseville Music Club's 80th birthday year.
The program includes Damien Ricketson’s exhilarating Imagining Le Verrier (a work especially written for Gartner) as well as a rarely performed virtuosic tour-de-force: the Sonata for Solo Cello by Eugène Ysaÿe. The recital concludes with one of J.S. Bach’s most joyous utterances, his Suite III in C Major for unaccompanied cello.
