Event Details
This event forms part of the York Late Music Festival.
As well as a new work from David Lancaster, this concert will also feature three new works from young talented composers, selected by MCC conductor Justin Doyle and renowned composer James MacMillan.
Featured non-Australian music: Wilkinson’s Envoi; MacMillan’s A Radiant Dawn, Miserere and Cecilia Virgo; Tavener’s Svyati; Penderecki’s Per Slava; Mealor’s Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal; Ola Gjeilo’s Northern Lights; Tormis’ St John’s Day Songs.
