Brisbane Writers Festival presents in partnership with Queensland Music Festival and University of Queensland: Illuminae by Argo.
Dive into the world of Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff's best-selling book, brought to life at twilight with music by Ben Heim + Connor D'Netto.
Be immersed in the centre of the novel’s action as another universe explodes around you in surround sound. Lovers converse, a damaged artificial intelligence goes rogue, and star cruisers battle as live strings and electronics underscore this cinematic experience. Performed by acclaimed cellist Patrick Murphy, of the Southern Cross Soloists, and players from the University of Queensland School of Music.
