Originally from Brisbane, multi-award winning saxophonist/composer/arranger Jacam Manricks returned from New York in July to promote the release of his new album ‘Labyrinth’, recorded in NY and features leading NY jazz soloists and a chamber orchestra. Manricks has performed internationally at Jazz at Lincoln Center (New York), the Gasteig Philharmonie (Munich), the Jazz Standard (New York), the Jazz Gallery (New York) the Vancouver Convention Center and many more. He has recorded and performed with many prestigious artists such as the Village Vanguard Orchestra, Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, David Liebman and Ray Charles. This concert will feature outstanding rhythm section of pianist Paul Grabowsky, bassist Sam Anning and drummer Ben vanderWal.
