Jeremy Sawkins Jazz Organism CD launch : Live in Dublin

Conceived by Jeremy Sawkins in 2004, Jazz Organism features Darren Heinrich on organ and Dave Goodman on drums. Shortly after forming the band Jeremy left Sydney for Ireland and shortly after arriving teamed with young Irish organist Justin Carroll and American drummer Jon Mele to create the ‘Dublin Chapter’ of Jazz Organism.
The CD was recorded on their last gig before Jon Mele departed for New York. The Sydney launch will feature Australian musicians who have been regulars in Jazz Organism since Jeremy’s return from Dublin. The repertoire consists of all original compositions by Jeremy, Darren and Spike.
