Event Details
This year, the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra's Christmas Charity Concert is fundraising for beyondblue. The program includes a mix of Christmas favourites by Handel, Holst, Tchaikovsky and Leroy Anderson, alongside works by Australian composers Nicole Murphy and Nigel Westlake. Murphy's work, 'Flicker' was commissioned by the KPO, and premiered earlier this year at the KPO Kids' Proms. It features the tune 'Twinkle, Twinkle...' bringing sparkle to The Charity Christmas Concert. Soprano Jessica Westcott is the featured soloist for extracts from Handel's 'Messiah', and Australian carols will be performed by the St Ives Park PS choir. Come and join the KPO and conductors Guy Noble and Edward KcKnight for this family-friendly fun afternoon concert.
