The year 2015 commemorates MGQ’s 10th anniversary. This concert celebrates the ground-breaking work and the dynamic impact that MGQ has made on the guitar landscape. MGQ’s highly acclaimed arrangements of new music and ‘established favourites’ have paved the way for establishing the model of the guitar quartet as a serious chamber ensemble.
The program will feature a broad range of works from MGQ’s three studio albums.
Featured non-Australian music: Piazzolla, Albeniz, Vivaldi, Debussy et al.
