Australian jazz legend, pianist/composer Mike Nock takes his renowned trio format a step further with the addition of two outstanding young talents, saxophonist Karl Laskowski just back from Berlin, plus recent winner of the 2011 Generations in Jazz (James Morrison Scholarship) competition, trumpeter Ken Allars.
The group’s fresh sound brings a new perspective to Nock’s memorable compositions. Tonight sees the launch of their new CD Hear And Know. Come and hear one of Australia’s premier modern jazz groups and share the exciting new music.
