Moorambilla Voices Sydney Tour: Monday July 4 – Thursday July 7, 2016.
In collaboration with Royal Far West.
We are incredibly excited to be bringing our wonderfully talented and creative candidates to Sydney this July!
Over 50 young singers will give a series of performances at unique venues throughout the city, including special performances at NSW Parliament House and Government House.
Accompanying them will be members of our ensembles-in-residence, Taikoz and The Song Company and The Australian World Orchestra.
The children will be singing new Australian music about the iconic Brewarrina Fish Traps and the wide open sky of Narran Lakes – music inspired by the landscape of north-west NSW.
The MAXed OUT Youth Company will also undertake an intensive workshop with Taikoz, learning new performance techniques that will inform future performances. This tour is an amazing opportunity to showcase the talents and creative capacity of our region with new audiences – to celebrate in song and movement the spirit and heart of regional and remote communities.
