Event Details
Judy Campbell’s MOSAIC brings together some of Australia’s most accomplished jazz performers and composers to present a joyous, multicultural fusion of world music and contemporary jazz.
During their recent Australian tour, MOSAIC created a themed sequel to their 2007 CD Colours of Kenya. Inspired by the water projects undertaken by the Tweed Shire Council’s Kenyan Mentoring Program, the new material again weaves contemporary compositions and improvisation together with traditional Kenyan rhythms and songs, this time on the theme of water.
The CD launch marks the start of another tour, supported by the DEWHA Contemporary Music Touring Program.
