Event Details
A former student at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Mark Oliveiro, has recently been studying composition in the United States and has compiled an impressive list of works. Taking the form of a concerto for cello and strings, Cyan Echo recalls childhood holidays in the Blue Mountains and echoes from the Katoomba clifflines. We are excited to have this work especially written by Mark for Bourbaki Ensemble's March concert.
Featured non-Australian music: Schoenberg, Burrell
