Benjamin Northey leads the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, soloists and Chorus in an exuberant jubilee celebrating 50 years of the MSO Chorus (formerly known as Melbourne Chorale). Featuring guest Chorus Master Warren Trevelyan-Jones, directing the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus in a selection of music paying tribute to the Chorus’ much loved tradition of a cappella performance, followed by Mozart’s resplendent Requiem, the composer’s final masterpiece with its inimitable force and tremendous climaxes.
