Music at St Alban's - we have much pleasure in welcoming award-winning jazz pianist and composer Sally Greenaway with guest artist soprano Louise Page in a concert of Jazz Classics on Saturday 21 June at 7.30pm. Music includes Gershwin's Summertime, Charlie Chaplin's Smile, American Song Book jazz standards and several of Sally Greenaway's own compositions for good measure. Sally is well known in Canberra as a jazz pianist, musical director, teacher and composer who has performed around Australia at sell-out concert events. A graduate from the Royal College of Music, London, and the ANU School of Music, she has played jazz piano at countless functions and concerts, including the London Chopin Festival (on Steinway's unique 'Ferrari' grand piano) and on Liberace's famous rhinestone-covered grand piano at the Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair, London. This concert is part of a month-long celebration for our patronal festival at St Alban's during June 2014. Visit our website for more details.
