To wind up the Pyrmont Festival, Sydney Heritage Fleet, together with the Lane Cove Youth Orchestra, presents: Music in the Sails.
Sydney Heritage Fleet, is a community-based, non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation of Australia's maritime heritage.
The 45-piece Lane Cove Youth Orchestra is a community youth group based in Lane Cove but boasting members from numerous Sydney suburbs.
A gold coin donation will treat visitors to beautiful music and an opportunity to inspect a selection of classical heritage small boats.
Huntington Estate wines is supporting this function and a selection of their excellent range of wines will be available for guests to enjoy.
The Pyrmont Festival of Wine, Food & Art gives a unique opportunity for Pyrmont, just 2km from Sydney’s CBD, to demonstrate its diversity as a dining and lifestyle precinct with plenty of restaurants, bars & cafes plus numerous event venues such as Pyrmont Wharf, Pirrama Park, art galleries, TAFE NSW and The Star Casino.
The Pyrmont Festival is a collaboration between the Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce, the City of Sydney and the Mudgee Region Tourism and Wine industry.
The Mudgee Region is 3.5 hours’ drive from Sydney in Central NSW and is one of the state’s first established wine regions. It is renowned for its food and wine with around 40 family-run boutique wineries, as well as excellent art, music, nature and history experiences.
