Event Details
Since the dawn of time, the lights of the night sky have inspired human minds in the creation of myths and legends. Of these, the asterism known as the Big Dipper is one of the most outstanding and celebrated. QLD Conservatorium's Dr Kim Cunio (world instruments) and Dr Nicholas Ng (erhu | zhonghu) join forces with Heather Lee (soprano), Samjjana: Maia & Sahayak (flutes | hang), André Bonetti (percussion), Rebecca Frith (narration) and Philip Tyrer (animation) in this multi-platform exploration of the Big Dipper in the spirituality and folklore of various old world cultures.
