Experience an intimate special benefit concert featuring Cello Dreaming solo artist Louise King performing to raise awareness and funds on behalf of all who strive for a more peaceful and just world through music for social change program Musicians Without Borders. Hear some of Louise King's favourite music from around the world featuring works for solo cello by J.S. Bach, Sarah Hopkins, Iain Grandage, Peter Sculthorpe, Mark Summer, Paul Stanhope and Aaron Minsky delivered with her signature warmth, virtuosity and passion.
A spellbinding musician who exudes a vigorous artistry, Louise King fuses classical tradition with folk, blues and experimental soundscapes delivering technical mastery, poignant melody and lyricism.
Proceeds raise much needed funds for Musicians Without Borders programs in refugee camps and war torn areas. Limited seating, benefit concert bookings essential, general café seating. Order your lunch and beverage when you arrive to accompany the charity performance starting at 12:30pm.
