Camerata of St John's is Queensland's chamber orchestra and maintains many links with the Conservatorium. Founded by Elizabeth Morgan, the orchestra is led by Brendan Joyse, and includes many Queensland Conservatorium Graduates. Recent performances at the Australian Festival of Chamber Music led to media comments such as 'the fresh assured voice of the Camerata of St John's' and 'purposeful, crisp and bristling with energy and brushed with graceful elegance'.
Featured non-Australian music: Pärt, Cunio, Hildegard von Bingen
