Event Details
Noise Husbandry is artistic and confronting, industrial yet filmic, button-pushing, emotion-filled sound. Composed by James Humberstone for the Maritime Museum’s ‘Action Stations’ exhibit, experience this music live, for one night only in Sydney. Ensemble Offspring originally recorded most of the music in the destroyer, HMAS Vampire, and submarine, HMAS Onslow. It incorporates ideas of cryptography in music, experimental music, improvisation and open forms to tell the story of these vessels and those who sailed her.
