Open Frame is Room 40's annual event of esoteric sound and media, drawing together key contemporary artists across improvisation, electronics, extended instrumentation, audio-visuals and the wider avant-garde. In 2009, Open Frame features musicians and sound artists from Greece, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
Thematically this year's Open Frame plays with a full deck, presenting explorations into dynamic texture and physicality in sound performance – Open Frame promises to deliver truly unique sound experiences that will resonate long after the concert is over.
