Event Details
Merlyn Quaife specialises in contemporary music, and has one of the most sepulchral soprano voices in Australia. The concert will contain works by composers from the region. Rosalind Page (from Berry) has recently won Australia’s most prestigious song cycle award. Mary Finsterer (from Bowral) is
a feisty composer who pushes lots of boundaries. Andrew Ford (from Robertson) writes superbly for voice. Kangaroo Valley resident Martin Wesley-Smith will be represented by his cello music performed by David Pereira. The works will be introduced by the composers.
