Acclaimed saxophonist Paul Van Ross launches his highly anticipated Cuban album, Mi Alma Cubana – My Cuban Soul. Recorded in Havana, Cuba, in the same studio used by the famous Buena Vista Social Club, the album features many heavyweights (Changuito, Yoraldy Abreu, Gaston Joya, Alejandro Falcón) from top Cuban bands Los Van Van, Maraca and Chucho Valdes. Van Ross collaborates with Melbourne Latin Jazz group ClaveMania in order to recreate the Cuban experience. Featuring all original compositions that combine the deep-rooted traditions of Latin America and a contemporary approach to Latin Jazz the group will be exploring Salsa, Cha Cha Cha and Son grooves, which will get any body moving.
