A weekend of performances and conversations with a group of Australia's outstanding improvisers and talented young students. Topics will include sources, inspirations, approaches, connections with other musical genres and other art forms, and the pursuit of an individual voice in music making. Forums will be open to the public and audiences are invited to join in all discussions. Given the idiosyncratic nature of the art there is certain to be some lively debate.
Directed by Tony Gould, guests include Paul Grabowsky, Andrea Keller, Colin Hopkins and Tim Stevens.
