Members of Coro Innominata join forces with Leichhardt Espresso Chorus, Marrickville Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Brett Weymark), Sydney Brass (featuring trumpeter Paul Goodchild), Sydney Chamber Choir (led by Paul Stanhope), the MLC Chamber choir, soloists and over 100 choristers from all over Sydney to perform in this unique concert to support the flood-affected people of Queensland. The program features works by Britten, Haydn and Australian composer Dan Walker. Soloists and musicians include: Emma Matthews (soprano), Sally Whitwell (piano), Nadia Piave (soprano), Josie Ryan (soprano), Richard Black (tenor), Christina Leonard (soprano saxophone), Kirsten Williams (Associate Concertmaster with the Sydney Symphony), Luke Byrne (piano) and more. The concert is supported by Marrickville Council, Leichhardt Municipal Council and the Italian Forum Cultural Centre.
All proceeds will go to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.
