The Russell Holmes Trio explore the art and essence of the piano trio with their own well defined flavour and personality. The group swings hard and grooves with reminiscent vibes of the Oscar Peterson Trio as well as more contemporary groups like the Brad Mehldau Trio, pays homage to the likes of Keith Jarrett and Herbie Hancock and yet stands alone with its own treatment and inimitable expression.
