One of Australia’s leading saxophonists, Sandy Evans (OAM), is joined by long term musical collaborators in the performance of her original suite, When the Sky Cries Rainbows, incorporating the power of large scale form with the spontaneity of small group interaction and improvisation featuring some of Australia’s most outstanding jazz soloists. A symbol of hope, the music is a heartfelt dedication to Sandy’s partner, Tony Gorman, and his journey of living with MS.
