Come on a journey with the innovative Melbourne Metropolitan Sinfonietta in their exciting debut concert at the Abbotsford Convent. Featuring 6 new works from some of Australia's finest emerging composers, the Sinfonietta is proud to present just a taste of things to come. Alongside these premieres are arrangements of selections from Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, Mahler's 1st Symphony and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. Conducted by Michael Bakrnčev and Sascha Kelly, 'The Melbourne Met' hopes you will join us and hear us yourself in our inaugural performance - Snapshots of a Sinfonietta.
