What came first: music or dance? Here we experience them as equal partners, sharing the stage.
Pianist Gabriella Smart performs contemporary works from Australian, American and Chinese composers, ranging from Tan Dun to Alvin Curran and Carl Vine. Contemporary dancer Jo Naumann performs choreography by Amanda Phillips, celebrating the beauty found in simplicity.
This gentle but visceral duet unfolds as a dialogue between cultures and between art forms.
