Event Details
WeiZen initiated, curated and facilitated SOUND BITES from July 2012 with support from members from the local Blue Mountains community. This event creates a continual dialogue with practitioners who reside in the BM and Sydney, as well as sound/text artists across Australia and travelling international musicians and poets. It has a focus on improvisation practice as well as extended use of objects and instruments. The Living Room Series will also extend invitations to performing artists and other forms of media/installation artists, in particular practitioners who can create works that are responsive to the home habitat.
